A Constellation Training Class and Weekend Workshop
with J. Edward Lynch, Ph.D (CEUs = 5.5)
Seattle Constellations Institute is pleased to announce this workshop and training with Professor Ed Lynch from New Haven, Connecticut. Dr. Lynch is the founder & director of the New England Institute of Systemic Constellations, where he teaches a two-year constellation facilitator training program and currently has an on-going training program that began its’ sixth year in September. Although Dr. Lynch is frequently invited to teach and facilitate at various programs in US, Russia, Poland, Mexico and Germany, this is Ed’s first opportunity to present his very fine work in the Northwest.
The Cradle of Healing: Physiology, Trauma and Systemic Constellations, is a 5.5 CEU seminar and experiential class that will demonstrate how the individual's self system and the family system are intrinsically related.
Participants will:
The participants will learn to recognize the physiological signs of inter-generational trauma and family dysfunction as it is manifest in the body of the individual and in the interactional field that forms the social network of the client. Dr. Lynch will correlate the conditions for healthy prenatal growth and development with systemic family health and/or dysfunction. He will also demonstrate applications for working with clients who manifest physiological examples of family dysfunction. His training day and the workshop that follows are sure to be instructive as well as insightful.
Dr. Lynch continues to serve as a professor at Southern Connecticut State University. He is the chairperson of the Department of Marriage and Family Therapy and the founder of the Gestalt Therapy Training Program at SCSU. He is a clinical supervisor of both Gestalt therapists and Marriage and Family therapists and has been associated with the education and training of psychotherapists for the past 35 years.
