Systemic constellations work is concerned, in part, with the alleviation of distress experienced by individuals and human systems predominantly in the context of their social bonding and mutual entanglements. The Seattle Constellations Institute explicitly recognizes the great debt owed to Bert Hellinger and his colleagues’ pioneering work, but the services offered through the institute are not limited to their work alone.

Systemic family constellations work combines elements of family therapy, systems theory, Contextual and Experiential/Symbolic therapies in order to address individual and family patterns within the family system. Patterns that may have existed for generations are respectfully identified and a systemic resolution is presented, which may help an individual, couple or family to re-pattern their behavior within context of their family system.

Often presented as a group process, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in a constellation to the level in which they are comfortable. All involvement is voluntary and a participant’s choice is always respected.
